I went out yesterday for about five hours. Worked from the back of Monte Ne,all the way around Horshoe Bend to Blackburn, found lots of bait but very few fish. The Mudline was at the mouth of Monte Ne yesterday so I'm sure it's well past that now. It was extremely tough! Next week should be awesome with higher temps and clearing water.
I went out this afternoon , caught several hybrid and striper from graham b to Horshoe bend , bait is pretty plentiful in the area as are the fish , the no wake cut island between Monte be and HB held some today also as did near the swim area of HB
Dan we saw you , we were in yellow white hurricane and had the screen covered with big arches for a long time , best I've seen in my life, ran out of broods quick, several in boat and 2 big ones made long runs and broke off
Our kids are coming to the lake tomorrow through Monday and want to do limb lines and jugs for blues and channels. We are down by Monte Ne. I have never caught a blue down there just lots of flatheads and channel. Any suggestions for locations and bait to get into some bigger fish?
Taking my daughter out the next three days should I go up the river or over to the islands,I hear the stripers are around the islands to Larue and the white bass are in the river not sure what to do
