Yes, but you'll need waders to get to the dock if you want to use it, at least as of yesterday. Mill Creek is good. Someone has been keeping the dock moved.

Fished yesterday afternoon from Aunts to Woolly. Water temps mostly 48 in the main channel, some warmer temps in the creeks. I saw dying shad at many of the main channel spots I stopped at although I didn't think it was excessive but then I'm a complete newb when it comes to shad. I did notice lots of gulls diving to the surface to feed. Fishing was very slow for me but then it has been since I got here the first of the month. I guess I'm zigging and the fish are zagging.
Question: I thought it was cold water that caused shad kills. Why is there a shad kill happening when the water is warming?

I don't know if that was intentional, bo, but it's funny as the dickens. I have a new name for that contraption now. 😆

I wouldn't trade every LM in Florida for what we have here in the Ozarks and the immediate surrounding area. Gorgeous scenery, great numbers of all 3 bass species, and an ever-growing walleye fishery for culinary enjoyment. God has blessed us richly.

My crazy brother-in-law once cooked up some porcupine. All I remember is that it smelled terrible and that even his dog wouldn't touch it. 🤣

It didn't get past mine and was a very pathetic attempt to game my permit algorithm. I have photographs of boat registration numbers and fines have been mailed to his address. So joke is on him in 2-3 business days.

Snagged, we also picked the Table Rock area as our retirement destination. Our kids and most of our grandkids are in STL so the short drive for visits is an added bonus. We began our search about 4 years before retirement and now have been here daily for 3 years. One of our best decisions. You won’t regret it. And meeting the people on the forum has been an extra pleasure.

many times the catching is not quite where we would like it, but you did get out and there are many beautiful things to view.  many areas of the lake are not producing, but the bass know the days are getting longer and are making moves.  i always have looked at it that catching something is a lot better than catching nothing and be happy to be out.
