All this being said , I grew up minutes from fellows and have fished it a lot . I can tell you that the record fish is in that lake with out a doubt . I have had some on that just wreck bass tackle and steal your lures. They were really really big .  I had one come from under our Jon boat and eat a spinner bait that had to be 50” it felt like the same size as the boat. It was eye opening , a little scary but mostly amazing .

The jig bite has been so so light . It’s was amazing this weekend how light it was . We call it the wet rag lol We’ve caught 2 big flatheads in two days . So I bet you’re right .

A note on Dock repair. Our swim platform has the welds broken and needs some attention. 
We have gotten 2 bids. Best bid is $10,000.00 plus material.  Said they can fix it in 2 days but can’t get to it till November

A word or two in defense of my brethren out there......
Don't bring us some pristine craft needing a livewell pump/or valve replacement that requires removal of 3-4 batteries, an onboard battery charger, 2 fuel tanks, and an oil reservoir.....and expect us to get that done without leaving a speck on the carpet!!!    
We always do our best to not unnecessarily trash a boat..... but there's a limit to how much patience we have, and how much you are willing to pay to have the job done.     
You do piss off the side of this thing, right ?  And fart while you're driving it?    It's a goddamn fishing boat, you ain't cruising for chicks in it !  
It ain't our fault, or concern, that you spent 50-60k on it and expect it to look showroom fresh until the loan is paid off.

Watching live this morning. To my surprise live scope is playing a huge factor . Listening to the NY guy break down his spot is annoying . He’s outside the no wake at PB2 live scoping release fish . But to here him talk he found a pattern where the fish are moving up 🤣
