  1. Been to both places. Kalkaska,MI water tower is much better. Grayling, Mi is really good. Baldwin, MI has a great festival.
  2. Yep, Cawker City KS. Great Lake nearbye, Bird Hunting and BIG Whitetails and Mulies. I'm 5 10ish and that ball of twine is taller then me. Downs,KS is close and has rooms.
  3. In a few weeks Kalkaska, MI will have the 85th National trout festival. Is it the world capital? Grayling, MI 25 miles away begs to differ. Arkansas has several offers. Throw in your choices if you wish.
  4. Ha, have a friend that works in Olathe KS for Garmin as a "software supervisor". Makes 150+. Can't catch a fish to save his life. Said updates are needing updating always. But he can get me a good discount. The GPS he hooked me up with is a POS. He offered a update.
  5. A rifle shot. I can figure that out. 😄
  6. Terrierman. Grayling,Michigan claims they are Trout Capital of the World. It's on there water tower also... I've fished both areas. Its a draw.😀
  7. Stirring the pot..... Wrench probably has many in his junk pile. 😇
  8. The money they spend to compete is crazy. Some guys get the jackpot. Most don't. Like a golf tour, racing. Until they make it illegal why would not use all options. I think they should outlaw electronics for the "pros". JMO.😘
  9. Daaa, thought they looked good, its late on Sunday. Wrench is right on
  10. We are going to try and make it in Michigan this year. No meth heads but we enjoy some beer. Trying to get rid of oversized oak stumps that are not cost worthy to split. Have it all set up, stainless tanks etc. Real charcoal is what the pro smokers want.
  11. Shuttlecocks and hot dogs, MGD. Sounds like a great day.
  12. I still return any jar I get with the ring. Grandma would only replace goodies if they were returned. Never told sister and brother that.
  13. I'm due a second shot this month, had a friend go thru it in Michigan last year. He couldn't even stand a sheet on him it hurt so bad. He begged his wife to shoot him...
  14. Check out the "Uppity Blues Women". First saw them in E. Springs. Some great blues ladies. Hope they are still alive.
  15. We used to noodle on the forks of the Grand river. Old tractor tires and cinder block motels. We quit when a friend became so ill his kidneys, etc were shutting down. After a scary week in hospital they concluded it was from the farm field runoff. They first thought it was from a tick bite. Can't remember what they called it, but that was it for us. And it was illegal 😇
  16. Well google has over 17,000,000 articles on this. I will get back too you. Truck is in shop today, I will start reading now...😀
  17. I really think they require much more repair and service and question life span. Have we seen one last 16 years? And they are a terrible blight on the landscape. I can't post a picture much less a link so don't hold your breath. 😬
  18. Seth, never said is wasn't true. I have read all sorts of different articles that say all sorts of different things. I just don't know. AND thats my opinion.
  19. I did. Doesn't mean its true. Just my opinion.
  20. And those trucks burn A LOT of dirty diesel fuel.
  21. Well ,the wind farms made a great friend in NW Mo a multi millionaire. He was able to buy 4 new trucks and still rakes in money just hauling gravel for pads and access roads. I don't know how they can be cost efficient.
  22. Come on, a grizzly bear? Just charge in and take over. BIlletHead ?
  23. Anymore, I don't do well with crowds. Where did this happen ? Nice picture. Lotta sun damage on those faces.
