  1. What species of minnows did they recommend?
  2. Been a very long time since I heard anyone using a Charlie Brewer slider rig. Been a long time since I used one. I liked fishing them and they caught alot for fish for me.

  5. I don't like eating them or cleaning them. I caught one and ate it and that cured me. Amazing fish though.

  8. I haven't kept up with battery improvements. Do they have batteries which can handle 12V trolling motor and start outboard motors. I've a 12V trolling motor and a 40HP 2011 Mercury and would that be advisable?
  9. The acid in embedded in the lead plates and fumes can be a danger. It is hazardous to health.
  10. IMO, melting batteries down for molding bullets is a bad idea.

  12. thanks, I don't hear or read very much about fishing the big streamers in Taney. Its something I've put off for too long and need to just do it.
  13. Which articulated streamers would work best on Taney. I've always wanted to try them.

  17. When they came out that very thing got my buddy a ticket and they didn't have a thing to say even when we showed the agent the problem when he checked us. Cost my buddy over $100 bucks and that was in the late 70's. They knew and haven't done a thing to change it. The fish was an eighth inch over. 1/8" over, he measured with a home made measuring board.

  19. I have one but not used it alot. It's medium power and medium action and I use it for crankbaits and lipless baits. I've not had any problems with it. I really like the rod. It is lightweight and I really like it. I'll be using it more this spring. I've debated buying another, but am waiting to see how it performs with more fishing under its belt.
  20. I was on Taney Nov 5th taking advantage of Phil Lilley's offer to veterans. I had a great time and I appreciate this time at Lilley's. I would like to thank Phil for making this offer. Thank you. I took my boat ride and it was so much fun and so beautiful that I had to share.
