  1. I have some smaller green tubes I will try rigged on a jighead. I'll post some pics in a few days if I catch anything nice!
  2. I heard the fish move deeper this time of year and don't chase minnows as much. Where should I focus my casts? Deeper holes? And what bait would you guys throw? I just got an alabama rig and will need something to switch to once it gets hopelessly tangled in a tree branch or root wad...which judging from the cost of this lure, will be very quickly lol

  4. I am looking for an outfitter to shuttle a vehicle or two paddlers at one of these access points. Any suggestions on who to use? Also, any suggestions on lures to use for smallies? I want to try an A-rig after turner mill due to the soft plastic restriction through the blue ribbon trout area, but am curious if anyone has any go-to lures. Not going to use live bait. Thanks

  6. Are the very deep slower moving pools the best place to catch fish? I still am developing my eye for frogwater unfortunately. I have a feeling I've been fishing a lot of it Maybe throwing a tube or soft craw will work better this time
  7. How has the fishing been on the big river on the irondale to desloge area? I went down there a few weeks ago and didn't catch a thing! Maybe it was the weather or temperature? It was a bit chilly, but I didn't think weather had much effect on the rivers. Last time I went there maybe 10 years ago, it was the best river fishing I'd ever had. Lots of goggle eye, a few largemouth, and a smallie. That was the summertime, however. I read that spots may be taking over in the river and ruining the population of other species... Is this stretch of river productive lately? Maybe it was just an
