  1. I wonder at what level they will unlock the gates to the park.
  2. Went down to Aunts to check out the level this morning and it was over the road and the first ramp. Went down this afternoon and the gates are closed.
  3. Had a guy wanting me to paint a Norman lure like R2D2. The mania reaches everywhere.
  4. Looks great TrophyFishR! Now red eyes, clear coat and hooks and hold on.
  5. The boy has talent! Keep up the good work.
  6. Sometimes even the professionals with all of their lab testing don't get it right. I, and I'm sure many others here on the forum have bought brand name jerk baits that didn't perform like they where supposed to. I remember when the Mcsticks first came out they had a leaking problem that made them sink. There are no guarantees when it comes to suspending lures. Too many variables. Water temp being a major one.
  7. Norman flake and pro blue are big sellers,
  8. I've painted a bunch of these and they seem to be a really good lure. As with all of the jerk baits I use a 2 part spray on clear coat similar to an automotive clear to help eliminate any extra weight. You should be fine with the etex as I know of many other guys using something similar with good results. All jerk baits are finicky when it comes to making the suspend right. There are so many variables such as water temp, barometric pressure, floating mono line, sinking fluorocarbon, ect. Can't wait to see how they turn out!
  9. The water was pretty clear. You could see the jig 5 feet down or so. Slight green tint.
  10. Not tipsy. Just stupid. Ain't had much school learnin'
  11. I'm ok osiffer. I'm not half as think as you drunk i am!
  12. If you get to Table Rock, Rich at Ozark Bait and Tackle is having a going out of business sale. 20% off everything and the more you spend the % rate goes higher.
  13. Nope Table Rock. Aunts Creek
  14. Went out with my good buddy Lou yesterday for some crappie. The bite was on as we had a double limit of keepers and caught over 60. We found them on bluffs next to timber in 10 to 20 feet of water. We used 1/16 ounce jigs in chart/white. WT was 55. We had 5 over 15 inches. Lets eat!!!!
  15. Sweet!!!!!! Great color combo. Those will catch'em.
  16. Those are the 6 colors I designed for this year. You're right Jeff. Great color for the spring.
  17. Happy Thanksgiving to all and may God continue to bless us!
  18. Made it up to virgin bluff from aunts creek and thats where the mud line started. water temp 56. Caught 10 keeper crappie.
  19. Watson is burning the frog but has 2 other topwaters that he throws depending on how much wind there is.
  20. I painted up some baits for James last week, so I'm in his corner along with my bud Mike. Good luck to all of the local guys. Bill, we want to see you in one of these derby's. It would be awesome to have you in there so we can root for someone who shares so much info with us all. Thanks for keeping us updated!
  21. I have seen so many variations of this color even on the old warts its hard to pin it down to one color. I have seen some that have faded to a dark pinkish color and some to a brownish orange. If you send some in, its best to send a sample to get the exact color you want.
  22. This is the sample storm sent me. Doesn't look like their pic at all.
  23. Maybe holding the water back for such a long period of time has stagnated some of the water. Open up Beaver and Table Rock and flush her out. Sorry Bull Shoals.
