eric1978 4
I doubt that I'll have time this evening ....but as soon as I get a free afternoon I'll take it to Gravi' creek, field test it, and provide a photo report. I mean, it is my duty as a Pro-Staffer Yep, and as your sponsor I expect to see some glowing reports posted even if it sucks. That's what all the other pros do anyway. creek wader 18
Eric, ..."but I know what it's like to obsess over a stupid jig." .. I gotta agree with you there. I also, have a habit of that. Also, on the color. I've caught smallies on all sorts of colors that you never see in a stream (unless it's some trash). I just thought that I'd try to make one as close as I can to the original specimen. Since they see it everyday.... I'll experiment with a few and see what I come up with. ...Thanks... wader Quote wader
Wayne SW/MO 7
I've been know to obsess over jig color, done that for decades. But I've concluded that anything beyond an ugly brown or green, and sometimes black is probably a waste of time. I don't know if my "highlight" strands make a difference to the fish or myself, but it is my contribution to "Matching the Hatch." Quote Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman. Adding little details can't hurt and it's fun to tie cool looking stuff.
