I have a small leak in the foot of my neoprene waders and would like to try and fix it. I think its leaking through the seam. I have never tried to patch a leak, any suggestions on what to use and what brand?

Thanks

In october I fell down a gravel slope gettig in the river and had anumber of small holes in my neoprene waders right over my wallet area. Pro Seal worked great. I got mine at BPS but I believe a lot of fly shops carry it or could sell you something better. Good luck.

Good luck. I tried patching a pin hole leak in a pair of neoprenes with a patch that was about 3x4 and they still leaked. I used plenty of goo on them too. That alone should have stopped the leak but it did not.

Marine Goop is good and can be found at most hardware and craft stores. There are several other adhesives made especially for the neoprene and can be found in most fly shops. Most waders come with a repair kit in the pocket or box that works too.

Goop takes twenty fours to cure. Go to a fly shop and get UV Wader Repair by Loon. It cures instantly when exposed to sunlight. I have used it several times and it works like a charm.
