The lakes are so low, and it's been dry for so long now.

I've got a bad feeling this is going to one of those springs where it rains for two months straight - right through the bass, white bass, and crappie spawn.

We've had those years before, where when it finally gets done raining the lakes are high and muddy and the spring runs are over. We certainly need rain to bring the lakes up, but when it comes I hope it's in moderation.

We'll see.

Yesterday as I drove thru Gassville, AR, I tried to dial the dam recording number 870-431-5311 to see if they were running any water on the White or Norfork and got a recording from Centurytel saying I had reached their call center or something... that is the correct number- I just dialed it from the house and got the dam guy. I just tried it on my cell again here and got the dam guy.

Frustrating!! Does anyone else have a problem calling it down there on a cell?

Now Phil, watch out you don't know him personally enough to call him that.
