Heding To The Niangua Arm This Weekend

i dont have any info on the ice situation but if you are able to fish please post a report. i dont live there anymore but i grew up on loz and use any excuse possible to make it back as often as i can. even tho its a 2 hour drive. what kind of fish do you plan on targeting?

Called my son when I saw your post, he's directly across from Ha Ha Tonka. He said it is all frozen except the spring branch cove. He also mentioned they have dropped the lake to winter pool.

I think it might be next week around tuesday or wednesday before we see a ice out. suppose to snow tomorrow then we will get a warm upned the nights to stay above freezing.

Went down to the dock last night and tried to bust the ice to see how thick it was. Never got through but I could see it cracking about 5" down. Needless to say, I was walking around the dock last night on the ice.. This cabin fever is killing me......Chainsaw time tonight Jack!!!
