For sale is a pampered, one owner, 1996 Bass Cat Pantera II with a 200 Mariner with less than 200 hours on it. This is a very clean boat and people don't believe it's a 96. When not on the lift, it gets to sit in the garage. The boat is located in Shell Knob. Available for viewing/driving this weekend. No tire kickers, please.

Though I'm listing it now, the boat won't be available until mid-October. It may be available sooner depending on when the new boat arrives.

A '96 and 200 hours, no wonder I haven't seen it at the lake. I thought my 96 Classic with 400 hours was low usage. Good luck nice looking rig, good luck with the sale.

Wow. Nice boats. Both of them. That Bass Cat looks new.

I remember drooling over that Pantera II at a boat show when they came out. There was a lot more pepper than salt in my beard then;) Now I drool over that Ranger you are buying. You're my hero (and I may need a bib;)

Thanks Danger!

It is in great shape. Believe it or not, that's the original carpet. It shows no wear.

I didn't have any takers for the weekend viewing/drive. I live in Cave Springs, AR so can be in Shell Knob in under 1.5 hours if anyone decides they'd like to take a look at it. I'm saving Craigslist as a last resort.

Also, for what it's worth, here's a crappie/walleye report:

Because of the constant threat of rain/storms all weekend, I primarily fished off the dock. The dock sits near the main lake channel. The water is ~35'deep under the furthest boat slip. I fished a drop shot with a nightcrawler in the 25'-30' range. Most of the walleye I caught were right on the bottom. I did pick up a few suspended in 15' of water. Biggest walleye was just shy of 24". They were definitely roaming around. When they stopped biting I switched to crappie. I was catching them on minnows over the same depth of water but they were suspended between 8'-15'. When they shut down I went and got the under water camera. ...shouldn't have done that. The brush we have hanging off the dock was loaded with crappie and they were burried in the trees with their noses pointed towards the center. They had lock jaw.

4 walleye and 4 or 5 crappie are waiting in the freezer for the next fish fry. Caught around the same amount of short walleye and around 10 short crappie.

Forgot to mention I caught caught plenty of spots, too. They were on the bottom between 25'-35'and full of craws.

Wonder if the crappie buried in the hanging brush because they saw the camera coming? Just a thought, great report.

Very neat report. I'd want a portable graph to vertical fish with. That would be fun.
