Only caught a couple of small ones, but have seen some pics if 20 lbers. I almost exclusively rod and reel fish for cats, but had a friend come from out of town, and want to do a TROT line,had never done it and really wanted to. So I borrowed one and a set it in a fishy spot. Had a bunch if channels, a 7 lb walleye and 8/0 Gamakatsu hook straightened(not completely as they break, but enough to know something big bent it), and one completely broke/wore through the braided nylon dropper line on one hook?
