Had a bit of a bean ball war with the A's and something resembling a real fight broke out for a bit last night. Yordano Ventura seems to always be a prominent figure in these deals. Smalls21 Posted April 24, 2015 Share Posted April 24, 2015 I watched the replay several hundred times on BBTN, it looked to me like Ventura was headed back to the dugout, and the home plate ump stopped him, kept him from getting off the field, of course that was after Ventura and Eaton were mouthing. Eaton has even admitted he started jawing first, Ventura responded and the fight broke out. Samardzija is a clown who apparently has something against Cain, and was looking for him for no reason in that fight. Ventura needs to cool his head, I don't think he starts a lot of it but he can't let it get to him like he does. Samardzija and Sale have been harping on/taunting Cain from the dugout every chance they get just trying to rile everyone up. Wasn't much going on in the scrum. I kinda wish that punch would have landed on Samardzija because he's a douche. Personally, I love all this. Baseball is fun again! I saw a 20-something guy interviewed at a KC bar on the news. He said baseball is fun to watch for the first time in his life. That kinda stuck with me.
