That is a heck of a catfishing rig.

It is a good cat rig, but lately I've used it mostly trolling for walleye and crappie. I originally got it for a skinny water boat for taneycomo, runs almost as shallow as a jet. With the jack plate cranked up it has about 2 inches of skeg sticking down below the hull. I spend most of my time on bigger water now and am going back to a deep V. Gonna miss this rig though, it's like a boat version of a 4x4.

I would think it would do a lot of things well.

Few more pics for anyone looking for a shallow water rig. Surely there's someone out there looking for a boat for Taneycomo.

Thanks Phil, it's spent a few nights at your dock when we've stayed in the cabins. I think it will suit someone else's needs better than mine these days. It's just time to get back in a deep v lake boat. Most of my trout fishing these days is spent in my waders, not out in the boat. This thing is setup great to troll for those big browns though!
