Members BiteMeBaits
Launched at Bridgeport at 0830. Fished from Flat Creek to Cape Fair. Fish were all over the place and not consistent but the best bite was on medium grade banks with some bigger rock and not a ton of brush. I kept the boat in about 14-16fow and pounded the banks with spinner baits. Fished every combo from white/gold to grey/silver to solid chart. Didn't seem to matter much as the fish seemed to be concentrated when I did find them and bit whatever spinner I threw. My boating partner caught several dinks on a green tube. Best 5 would go 10ish. Starting to see a ton of bluegill up in the 1-2ft range also. Surface temp was from 70 to 73.5. Dirty and milky. Sac River Jim, Quillback, Muddy Water and 1 other
cheesemaster
Thanks for the update. I fish the same area a couple times a month. Did you toss a crank at all?
Members BiteMeBaits
Maybe for 100 yards around the bridge that goes over flat creek to no avail. Didn't have anything in my boxes that I thought looked apealing.
