Fishin' Freak
Two of us fished Long Creek for crappie today and had an ok day. We caught 11 total--nothing big but 11 nice crappie. We were pulling white with green flake swimming minnows (1/8th oz heads) along the bottom very slowly. Fished were mainly holding on the bottom between 15 and 20 feet. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 11, 2007 Root Admin Share Posted February 11, 2007 I'm heading to Cricket to make my annual swimming minnow order this week. I may take the boat and see if I can find a few slabs for supper. White with green flake... don't think I've heard of that one.
Fishin' Freak
Lilly, I am sure you have seen it. It has a green flaked back--a buddy of mine picked them up out of a hand grab bin where color names are not given so I don't know the official color name. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 12, 2007 Root Admin Share Posted February 12, 2007 Cricket Creek Marina. He sells them retail but I buy them by the thousand. I'll have them on my online store... if I ever get it up.
