JohnF52 53
I netted this minnow out of the small creek that runs through our land. They seem to eat algae off of rocks on the bottom, and will flash brightly when they turn sideways to feed. They also seem to hide under rocks. About 2 to 3 inches long, and travel in small schools. Any ideas?

Stump bumper 527
I find this guide very useful. www.agfc.com/.../ar_fish.pdf
mhall02 14
Stoneroller, read all about them here: http://mdc.mo.gov/discover-nature/field-guide/central-stoneroller
hoglaw 118
I thought it was a creek chub, but maybe stoneroller is right. Now I'm not sure what a creek chub is. I have tons of them in my creek. The smallmouth love them.
Stump bumper 527
I would say they are very close to the chub listed here, that is also a member of the carp family. Chub.pdf
JohnF52 53
I think it is an Ozark Minnow. If I ever catch another (creek flooded last week, don't see any now) I will get a better picture.
