Looking for some advice

Recommended Posts

In going to make my first ever trip to the bourbeuse this week. I will be wading, which I know will limit the fishable water. I plan on mainly using crawfish pattern cranks and plastics, as well as spinner/buzzbaitz. I expect the fish will mostly be in the lower to mid water columns, and very little visibility. Just wanted to see if anyone has any advice for a bourbeuse virgin. Also, would it be worth it to target catfish if all else fails? Thanks,-Mike

I have been fortunate to be invites to float and fish the Bourbeuse a few times by some fellas that fish it regularly.  Usually won the braggin rights for most keepers caught and released by going old school.  J-9 floating jointed rapala  chartreuse back.  The bass acted like they had never eaten.
