netboy Posted October 7, 2016 Share Posted October 7, 2016 Wife and I launched at Greer access this morning and fished from the confluence of Greer spring down to the first island downstream of the bridge. Ended up with 23 trout with a few nice ones. Best fly was a size 12 y2k. Water looked great and saw an eagle snatch a trout from the river. Beautiful place.... 96 CHAMP Posted October 8, 2016 Share Posted October 8, 2016 Sounds like you had a good float, I have a buddy lives outside of Alton, used to get down that way and fish often, we used to fish Frederic Creek down off of CC & catch some awesome smallmouth.
