Members GoDoe 2
We arrived at Watts at 10am just as the water was flushing out after generation halted. The water looked good with about 2' of visibility. There were lots of fish rising for the first couple of hours we were there and some fish rising all day. We quit fishing at 3:15. I was stubborn and tried mostly top water flies. Fishing under an indicator is just not for me. I caught 3 fish on a Deer hair caddis and had another 3 or 4 get off. My partner was fishing a 1/80 oz white jig under an indicator and he caught over 20 fish. All fish were 14" or less. In a conversation after the day was over I was told the rising fish might have been eating midges before they could reach the surface. That was about the only thing I didn't try. BFTMASTER 15
Swinging emerger patterns has worked well for me down there.
Danimal 9
I've been over there the last 3 days. Absolutely spanked them on gray or tan midges size 18-20 fished about 15 inches under a small indicator. Only 1 nice fish of about 17" but enough good 13 to 15 inchers to keep it fun.
