Seemed like the perfect box lunch to the otters☺! Sorry about losing your walleye.

I'm hearing a lot of people complaining about them more and more.  My lifts are the flat poly tanks they love to hide under the boats and have lunch leaving behind the carcasses.

We had that issue and they would leave the carcasses on top of the flotation in inaccessible(without swimming underneath) parts of the dock - the smell was horrid.  Getting it out was a treat.  Don't leave fish in baskets anymore...

Surely you don't expect to live on a good fishing lake and not have some critters around.

We've already lost all the frogs, the dragonfly's, and in a few more years the few remaining damselfly's will be gone from Lake O.     It's funny that nobody notices a critter (or the lack of them) unless it causes what they perceive as a "problem".

Do  not forget the birds Wrench.  Remember that time you was working on something on the dock next door and that Egart caught and awllowed that bass that must have been 13 to 14 inches long. Anyone think they could not swallow something that big needs to see them stuff bluegill after blue gill down there gullet some still flopping.

Are the frogs and insects not around due to water quality OR is it another variable?

You are absolutely correct, I haven't even thought about frogs or the lack of insects.
