Not so much me looking for them, but just wanted everyone to know the whites are starting up the Spring and Neosho from what I am seeing on my feeds and they are totally busting the Spoonies out in the lake right now.  Crappie reports are coming in like crazy as well.  Hope it helps someone!

My buddy in Neosho said the whites moved up, way up in the Spring last week.  Not sure if it was a false run or where they are now.   He's done well some days and can't find them others.  Has done well on crappie too.

The feed I got was from a couple of days ago so who knows.  I do know the crappie bite is on like crazy right now from what I am hearing and seeing.  They could have made a false run, but I think I saw the water temps right around 53 so it is about to explode I would think.

We went this afternoon...fished spring river side...one gravel bank...and one mud bank...both about the same...pretty slow.  Pretty crowded...but didn't see any bloodshed...

White cranks worked best...caught em from 2 foot deep to 10 foot...I didn't really pay attention to temp...I think I remember seeing 540317181617_HDR.jpg

I went yesterday bank fishing under Connor Bridge and didn't do any good at all.  Stopped by Twin Bridges on the way back home and where the old heated dock used to be there were hundreds of white bass carcasses lying around.  Someone has been putting the hurt on them!  Those are a couple of nice ones.

I'd think from the bank in the daytime would be hard...I think they move around a lot.  It seemed like yesterday...we'd catch one or two...think we knew where they were...fish for a bit with nothing...move 50 yards catch 2 or 3 more...then nada...back to original spot and catch a couple more...move again 50 yards other way and catch fish.

We fished two 100 yard spots and caught 20 or so

I know you like to float...take the kayak next time...youll have better luck I think and you'll be able to chase the fish when you find them

Yea, I was with a buddy who doesn't have a boat and wanted to just get out and fish.  Next time I will bring the canoe!  Also went to explore and found an access over east of Quapaw I had never been to before.  Got there and it was closed. :( This is really the first time I have bought an Ok license so I need to get out and use it!  Hopefully they will turn on full blast here soon.

I went last week with my uncle. Put in at Twin Bridges and went up Spring Creek. Fished about 300 yds short of the power lines. Ended up with 70 between us. Mix of male and females. Had to really slow it down and was fishing right on bottom.
