Best campground fishing wise?

Good morning, thinking about going and staying at a campground on the Niangua for one or two nights. Anyone have any advice on which campground provides the best fishing right from the campground?

HVO I guess, since the stocking happens right across the river.   The fishing is usually pretty good around Maggard's and Ho Humm also.  The dude that is left in charge at Ho Humm is a gun toting creeper that I'd advise keeping a close eye on.

Thank you! I’m more of a smallmouth guy than trout. I usually fish a little bit up river from HVO and do well. Just looking to change things up a little. I may try Maggard’s. Thanks again!

I'd check out Riverfront if you want to bass fish in front of camp. No full hookups, but they do have water, electric, and a dump station..

.

Will do! Thank you!
