fishinwrench Posted May 26, 2018 Share Posted May 26, 2018 Love squirrel hunting in the Fall after the ticks and chiggers go to sleep, but never much cared for carrying around dead squirrels for a couple hours on a hot day. I prefer my meat to start cooling off immediatly after it hits the ground. Opening day of dove season is usually too warm for fresh meat also.
