Wolf Creek area 7-24 through 7-25

Recommended Posts

First time on Grand. Wife and I decided to try a new lake closer to the house this year. Beautiful place!! The area we were in was a lot shallower than I expected which worked to my advantage.  Found fish on main lake points, and off shore humps. Have to say the people of Grove were extremely courteous and helpful.

Might have seen a total of 15 other boats, and only one pair of jet skis. It was a very nice change from the rock.

If you need to know the fishing on Grand go to the grandlakefishingreport on FB.  Lots of info on the lake and what is hitting what. Glad you enjoyed your time! Nice fish too.

We went this evening...just got home...it's midnight as I type.

It must just be me...but I think the lake is in the tank...I think it has gotten worse and worse for the past couple of years.

We caught quite a few white bass before it got dark...looked for the green ones after dark...and really struggled to find any...I caught a couple drum.  Boy caught one largemouth...we called it quits about 11 and came home.  We fished monkey island area

I guess it all depends on what you are fishing for.  The crappie, white bass, and cats are on fire this year from all the reports I am seeing.  Now the black bass I don't know about, but the winning sack at the Elite series was a serious load of bass that took the win!
