Supreme Boats

Recommended Posts

I have a 1652 aluminum fishing boat with a Merc 60/40 Jet.  I am considering either a supreme L60 or a the 1648 riverboats and putting my 60/40 jet on it.  Need advice on the motor/boat size combo.  Love the big L60 but worried that the 60/40 jet will be a “turd” on the back of it compared with my current setup.  Anyone run an L60 with a 60/40 jet?  Thoughts?

All the guides I see up here on the White are running 60/40's on their Supremes and Topwaters. That should be plenty of power.

its plenty of power.  I know Chris and Rob at Supreme outfit that boat with the same motor all the time.  I bet if you call the factory they can get you a pretty good idea of what speeds they are seeing with that boat/motor setup.  There are a couple guides that run that L60 and merc 60/40 jet combo on the white as well, since time is money to those guys I bet that motor pushes it pretty good.
