Does anyone fish the October Caddis in Missouri?

Recommended Posts

They do hatch here. It is a nocturnal hatch. Have had them cover our lanterns while camping on the river. A Madame X with a burnt orange chenille body can kick some butt this time of year. Size 6 and 8 on a 200R, also tie in all black, and to imitate a woodland cricket, and hoppers.

Thanks for the responses. I have bought the materials needed to tie the fly but was told they weren't found in Missouri on another board. I better get tying.

No worries about them not being in missouri. You won't find a pink fur bug hatching in missouri either.
