A year?

Doesn’t Bambi’s dad get shot in the movie??

No. Just the mom.

I would lay lay a strong wager that I have seen the film more recently than anyone on this forum. My daughter and I watched it countless times in the past few months.

Great film. Fantastic music. Cutting edge film in its day.

I believe it was the sixth full length feature film made by Disney.

Yep it's official....Screenshot_20181217-212709~2.png

I'm still completely blown away that they have the choice to drop the "possession of a firearm by a felon" charge.... because that's Federal.   Can a county court just choose to ignore that in leau of an unreported property sezure ?

Who's the OAF house lawyer?  Surely we have one here.   😎

Definitely seems like they go off much easier than I would have expected. I’ve personally seen what I would call a proportionally more severe ticket given. Of course, it was much more minor and the penalty wasn’t as severe. However, I would argue that in proportion to the crime it was worse than what these guys are getting.

I would almost bet that the reason a state change about felon in posession of a firearm was dropped is so that the Feds could have him.  I thought it comes with a 6 month stay in the crossbar hotel.

received a 120-day sentence in Barton County Circuit Court for a felony firearms probation violation.

Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer nor a doctor but I have stayed in a motel: as this reads, I think it would only make him a felon, not that he was a felon; if on probation for J-walking and restrained from having firearms your kids toy gun in the seat of your car could get this accusation etc.

A charge isn't in itself any more than an accusation, doesn't mean anything really until sentence is passed - if the charge has no merit or is unprovable  and is dropped by the prosecutor, it would have no bearing on the case or cases that stand.

Watching any Disney movie is "cruel and unusual punishment" and should be thrown out if appealed to a higher Court.

The court docket and list of charges/sentences does.

Articles are just articles, if you're truly interested in any topic it helps to look deeper than just some reporters "report", If you can.  And in this case we can.
