Trump will take MO in November, so you are all wasting your time arguing about it. You can vote for someone else, but it wont matter...Just my take, I can't stand Trump, or Biden, or Sanders, or Pelosi, or McConnell, gonna quit wasting my time now. Trump raised my taxes considerably.

I respect your viewpoint Gavin. And agree much the same.  We have bad choices.  No argument there.

Setting that aside, I believe there is a lot of misinformation.  Can you elaborate on how this administration has been a benefit to the middle class in any meaningful way, from a tax standpoint?

I can!   Without giving you my bank statements, like I said I’ve brought more money home on a monthly basis under Donald than I did paying for Obama programs!

The girls all want to work there because they get to show off their T&A to rich dudes.

yeesh. No.

All the girls want to work there because they can't make $75/hr under the table working at Sonic.  Or Wal-Mart.  Or as a math teacher, a  a nurse, a bank teller, an insurance agent, a social worker, a physicist, a park ranger, a bus driver, a trash hauler, a long-haul trucker, a radio personality, a journalist, a farmer, an engineer, a lineman, a short-order cook.  No one's paying them $75/hr under the table to take a risk and open their own business.

Most people are going to go for the most lucrative job.  If the most lucrative job is showing T&A, so be it. I don't know the statistic, but there's a lot of women who fly from LA to Las Vegas for the weekend...to work.  If the folks who have money have decided T&A is the only thing they're going to spend on...can't really blame everyone else for following suit.

Well I just read that 44% of youth prefer socialism over capitalism.

But what does that mean, Mitch? Is "youth" under 30? 20? 15?

Does sending everyone a $1200 check count as socialism? Giving everyone out of work $600/month?

It's a very simple answer to a very complicated question, which should tell you it's almost certainly wrong.

Did the money going out change, though? I know folks who've had to pay through the nose for health insurance because of instability in Obamacare, and farmers who have struggled finding a market for their products as a result of the trade wars.

Thank Obama.  You are paying for all the uninsured!    Trump tried to repeal it.

Sending everyone a $1200 check and a short period of unemployment benefits is a bailout and not socialism. Trying to compare the US to other European countries as an example of how great socialism can be is at best like comparing a shrew to an elephant.

If you are referring to the TCJA....The legislation gave most people a few crumbs, soaked the upper middle class high wage earners, gave public companies a 15% tax cut, and a 20% tax cut for small business owners. My business clients were making out like bandits with the 20% QBID deduction until this virus stuff hit...And most made out like bandits with the PPP virus stimulus. I help them do it. Our stupid govt, makes stupid rules and I help my customers benefit from their stupid rules. I will always have secure employment thanks to the idiots in DC & States across the country.

You're mistaken.   They all hang out here at my place quite a bit, and because I am the kinda guy that I am.....they speak freely and honestly.    They work there for the reasons I said they did.   A few actually ARE starting their own businesses.....and THAT is how they are getting it done.

I don't think you realize how much some guys are willing to fork out just to have dancing bow ornaments on their Fountains and MTI's .   Again.... undocumented (perfectly legal) cash.

And thankfully our current President is the type of guy that is ok with that.
