Found them today, didn’t catch a ton of numbers but not were they hefty and mad. Good day on the Niangua. True Niangua Smallmouth River Beasts.

Also got to take my buddy from St. Louis out. His first time in a kayak.

I thought the Amish wiped it out?

No. They were on Taney cleaning that out. Man and woman in full regalia were putting it on em yesterday from a boat.  I saw them net 4 at different times when I saw them. Woman on the rod and he was the net man.

Really have never seen Amish on the Niangua seen plenty Mennonites. Not saying Amish don’t fish it because I have seen them around. They do have cars so they can get around.

Catch a lot of Smallmouth and Goggle Eye if I’m fishing for them.

Unless you know them from church, how do you tell the difference?
