Put in around 9:30 at Twin Bridges. The parking lot was about full Went up Spring. Water is lightly stained not clear but not muddy. WT 50. Tried several spots without success. Got up near to 10 bridg

Went back again this evening.  We kept 20 total...should make a good mess of fish for the youngest birthday. caught em all casting jigs in a 100 yard section of the river above the piers.  Probab

I fished Spring River today (Tuesday).  I did not go above the floating cabins.  We caught about 70 whites and kept 40.  Most were around 13" to 15".  We had 4 fat ones that were 16". I am glad we only kept 40.  I got very tired of cleaning fish.

When you reference the bridge piers, do you mean the bridge on Hwy 10?  If yes, how do you get above the first shoal north of the Hwy 10 bridge?  Once I get to the shoal, I can't figure out how to get past it.  I have tried going up the west side but ran into too many obstacles to pass.

    Yes and stay way the the left after going through the wide flats river wide below. Shoal is really showing on top side. A few prop boats were passing there yesterday tilting up motor. Use caution and be courteous please.
