MID JAMES DEBRIS!

Recommended Posts

The mid James between pt.13 and 14 is loaded with logs and debris. Be careful out there as some of the floaters are huge. I guess I need some tips from Champ because I blanked on my last 2 outings.

Spoony, I was remiss in not clarifying just how muddy that water might be. If you can see a bait 4-6 inches deep, LM will still bite. If it's muddy enough to walk on, forget it.

The brown fish will too. Just needs to warm up.

I think it actually got a bit better today. Visibility is up to 5 inches!

I've been down since the mudslides.....boat has been off the lift 4 times in 10 days. I power washed the house and bladed the driveway today. Tomorrow, going to clean the garage. The channel had a lot of big logs floating today. 25-30 mph gusts tomorrow?  Have no desire to go. Hard to see debris in 2 footers. Not worth a lower unit as bad as the fishing is.
