If you want to be successful shallow, you MUST find areas where you can reach all the way to the bank with your cast. Fishing the outside of the treelines is rarely productive. Both main lake and secondary points ... especially gravel ones … can be your best bet right now. Drag a football jig, Ned or shaky head around or work a jerk bait over them.
