Fishing a night tournament tonight, couple young gun rookies here. Got any pointers? We pre fished last night some around Joe bald and pretty much had the same result as you but I sinned some, I didn't even pick up a jig. Ssshhhh don't tell.

Going off the previous post above, can we pick up our rods Thursday at Bass Pro? Because on the OBBT website it states that they can only be picked up Friday at registration and after the final weigh in each day. Which isnt a big deal (to some) unless you are wanting to break that baby in the first day of the tournament!

I will be fishing the oakley big bass tournament for the first time this year and was just wondering if anyone had any information from the previous years from like 2011 on, like what weights won, and what they were caught on? Ive went to the website but it only shows last years results. Ive heard from word of mouth that its been won on a deep crankbait and a jig in years past, but i was just curious if anyone had any further information. Thank you!!

Well im going to give this a shot, first time poster here. Heres the low down, I've got a tournament coming up this weekend (buddy tournament) and am needing some advice on whether to go clear or go dirty. I had fished sunday in the baxter area and missed quite a few bites, the water was still pretty clear but had a little color to it. the guy i was with ended up getting one LM that would go 4 in the the boat plus a couple kentuckys. Ran to the mill creek area and i lost a nice smallie at the boat (ya rough day for me). Thinking this weeks weather would possibly eliminate sundays somewhat established pattern and after reading some recent reports (WARTS ON!!). My guts telling me to start in some clear water (Schooner creek) but i caught fish in stained/dirty water sunday. Can anybody help a fella out? P.S. the fish we caught sunday, A-rig, & Jig. Thank you!
