  1. Thank you Bo.
  2. Bill, I know that lake traffic around my house has went from insane busy - everyday - to reasonable again where I only see a boat or 2 durring the weekdays in the evenings. How much does that play into the bait fish coming to the surface again - which might scatter the bass? I don' know bass behavior like you, Merc (Bo), Champ and many others on here.
  3. Welcome to Table Rock!! I think anyplace on the Rock is ideal. 😁😁😁
  4. Nice report Bo. Nothing wrong with some friendly competition - as long as you win every now and again! Haha. Keep up the good work Linda!
  5. Yep, I got out today for about 2.5 hours. I havent been since last report. Clouds started to get thicker and thunder started rumbling and I didn' want to get hit by lightning so I called it a day at 8:30. Fishing was fun - like it always is even if I ain't catching them. But today I had a little luck. I had a bunch of shorts and 2 keepers at 15.5". I caught my first spoon fish, pic below, Crappie. Of all fish. I had a heck of a fight a coupe times and guess what I caught, see below. 2 catfish. What a fun fight on both. I snagged the first one in the back and the other ate my Rock Crawler. The Rock Crawler was the lure of choice today. And I had the best luck on rock points.
  6. Ya, not sure. I am guessing it was something to do with a live well. He had another wound on the other side of his mouth. I could tell he was recently caught.

  8. Real nice lm. Thanks for the report!!
  9. Not sure what' going on with that fish - but it looks man made to me.
  10. Can't beat the smoked pizza on a pellet grill. Holly cow - fantastic.
  11. If your doing it tomorrow Cape Fair should be pretty slow. I live close to there and last night was dead. I swam for 45 minutes (6:00 - 6:45) and only saw 2 small boats. I think there is a local tourney launching in the evening tomorrow.
  12. I am done!!! Who do I send my lures too?
  13. Thanks Bo. Your info is great!! And appreciated!!
  14. Thanks for the report Quillback. Can you - will you give away your c-rig set-up? Leader length, mainline - braid? And such? I have a older rod I think I am going to try to set up - but not sure what I am doing.....😂😂😂
  15. That all makes sense to me.
  16. My condolences to you and your family. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
  17. When do you fish that spoon? This is something I know nothing about - however, it interests me.
  18. Nice - like you said - top water action is fun.
  19. This is the first time out since our OA 1 bass tourney!! Its been way to long. I put in at 5:30am to a fog that was heavy in most places. I started fishing right across from the ramp with a buzzbait and had a couple shorts on it. I got to a flatter area with a big deep bend off to the side of the flat and the bass where chasing shad like crazy. I threw a zera spook and had a great time catching large mouth and Kentucky's for about an hour. Biggest was 4.0lbs. I even caught a nice small mouth a little later in the day. Wow - that small mouth crushed it. Now that I think about it - I believe this is my first trifecta day on bass - ever!!! That's cool. Anyway - I didn' even turn my electronics on today so I am not sure what the water temp was. Here are a couple pics.

  21. Nice fish. Thanks for the report!
  22. This is right. I just looked at the maps and it clearly states it as a "wilderness area." That's the only place like it that I could find on the map.
  23. Good job. Glad to see some father and son time spent on the water, no matter the age.
  24. And its not open until sometime in May.
