That's what my plan was. I came back and someone else was sitting on it.

I pulled up on a point Friday and the first 3 casts I had 3 fish - only one was a keeper but tons of fun. On my 4th cast I got hung up. I was throwing a Rock Crawler and they are not cheap. I only have a total of 2 RC's so I didn't really want to break it off, but I REALLY didn't want to spook any fish that could still be remaining on the point. What do you do? Break off a $10.00 lure in hopes to catch everything on the point (if there is anything left) OR go get your lure and try to make your self believe that there are only 3 fish on the point anyway. Any other way to handle this dilemma?

What part of the lake are you going to? Don't get ran over by all the Big Bass Tourney guys. Sounds like there are going to be plenty of them out there.

It has been a while since my last report. Fishing was good, I caught 30 or 35 fish with 9 keepers. Largest was 3lbs 14oz. Rock Crawler was the ticket. I did catch a 2lbs 6oz on mouse war eagle. Water temp was 57 up to 59 when I pulled out. The first half of the coves was better fishing than main lake banks.

Bo, nice fish for sure - Can you elaborate on the way you tie your jigs. Looks like you have a swivel or something between the line and the jig. I have always just tied my jig straight to the line. Thanks.

Thank you all for the prayers!!! I am sure the good lord has heard them and we are waiting for what he decides to do with my father. You guys are awesome and I appreciate all the support - more than you can even imagine. I shared all of the responses from you guys with my mother and she is overwhelmed by you guys. To have a place like OA and the network of great people that me and my family don't even know is breathtaking. If there is anything I can do for ANY of you please don't hesitate to contact me. I am glad you made that call Quillback. Like others have stated - what ever date you do end up picking there will be conflicts and I know I have a conflict on the proposed April date. So I will wait to see what you decide and go from there. Ps, I love the buzzbait bite for sure!!!
