5.12 on a white spinnerbait on the inside of a chunk rock point at 11:32am. -

Put in at Hickory at 6:45 and water was 54. Started tossing a black and blue jig and a 4" worm on a shaky head. Caught a bunch of little ones. Like 8 - 10 inches. Started launching a War Eagle down the banks about 11:00 and slow rolling it and caught 4 nice keepers (2 nice Smallmouths) and 3 that just touched 15". Ended with 34 total and 7 keepers. Had a blast. I just wish one of my kids would have been back to tag along. Maybe next time.

What about a trailer hook on a spinnerbait? I sometimes cut the downward hanging hook off so 2 hooks are up on a spinnerbait .

Has anyone ever tried these? I was thing about trying one out on a Wiggle Wart. It adds a little flash and changes the look from every other Wiggle Wart. I still want the Wart to float but adding this might keep it from rising. Thougjts?

Went to Pomme on Saturday and had good luck up the Pomme river with a 4.11 and a 3.7 being the 2 best of 21 fish. Most on a 4" worm. Cape Fair was mean to me today. Caught 1 fish that was short. I fished the same areas as last week that I had good luck on but totally different results today. This lake knows how to humble a guy real fast. Next week might be better, I will let you all know how it goes.
