    I was fortunate enough to work out a good deal on a little place on the lake, in the area that I fish most, Cape Fair. I am so excited I just had to post it!! We close on the deal 12/29. I love the lake. I am from Nebraska (not much fishing close by where I lived) and owned a little archery shop and when I moved here 10 years ago I sold all my archery rights and equipment and picked up fishing gear. I have loved every minute of it. I am starting to ramble - sorry, just excited.

    I can't get the link to open. However I did see a huge spot was caught in California that is new world record size. Probably the same article. That sure would be fun to have tugging on the line.

    I would not like to be on the receiving end of a rushed job when I am looking for quality and longevity. You are right there.

    "Kelly said yesterday we want everyone in and out in a day and never wants to tell a customer, we will have to order that." Sounds like a goal for his business to me, which is what all businesses should have - a goal of customer satisfaction. Not always are the goals met but it is something for his company to strive for. Just my 2 cents and I have never done business with them.

    I have never tried it, but would love to learn what to look for and how to do it. I rarely get more than 30 feet from the bank.

    I second abkeenen. I prefer the lucky craft 110 jerk bait in the chrome, ghost and a table rock color - white with a purple back. A little spendy but good baits. Academy sports has their house brand H2O baits at a very reasonable price - well worth looking into.

    10 to 15 feet on the Ks. The LM were around 6 to 10.

    Fished from 8am until 1:45am from Cape Fair down to point 13. Caught 13 with 3 keeper lm all on crankbaits. The other 10 shorts were all Ks on bluff walls. Mud line right at Cape fair launch up, but down from Cape was good color with 54 degree water up to 56.5. Pretty slow but better than being at work!!!

    Does anyone have any guesses how long the Virgin Bluff are will stay muddy? Will it clear up by Sunday? I would like to fish that area Sunday but not in mud water, I will go down the lake more if needed.

    It doesn't bother me. My parents are coming from Nebraska for Thanksgiving and the Friday after. They asked me if they could go to Bass Pro with my family because they have never been there. I am looking forward to the time with my parents doing whatever they want to do, and at this point it's going through BP on Friday.

    "He may not be the manliest dog... but he thinks he can whip anyones butt." They are cute - and manly!! They use to use them to hunt Badgers (which makes them manly)!! And explains the "whip anyones butt" attitude. LOL.

    I lost a pair of Amber glasses and replaced them with Blue Mirrors, I should not have done that. I am ready to sit on them so I have a reason to buy another pair of Amber glasses.

    Make sure you concentrate on the inside main lake points when you flip the bushes.

    Small tournament on Sunday brought in a little over 14lbs for 2nd place. Flipping bushes with jigs and creatures.

    It is great that someone reported it. I have been a weekend warrior for around 7 years, fishing Table rock, Stockton,Pomme almost every weekend and I have never been stopped or even talked to by the Game Warden. I am always ready but just hasn't happened.
