  1. Nice report!! I have never thrown a glide bait (maybe that’s not a glide bait - not sure I guess.) before. Very interesting for sure. The son was grinning from ear to ear which is great to see. Congratulations.
  2. 👍🏻
  3. Well done. Nice report. I took the jet ski out Sunday and water temp read 88 on the ski - jumped in and yep felt like bath water already.
  4. Nice report - and wowzer. That hook business makes me cringe too.
  5. Congrats!!
  6. I love that your kid is into the outdoors and you are able too spend time with him. That’s awesome. The James River is real busy every day - probably not enough room for another boat. 🤫
  7. Well done.
  8. Nice - sounds like a good day. The wake boats were far and few between many years ago way up the river but they are all over now. The wakes crash both sides of the lake hard up in that skinny water. They run back and forth in front of the ramp all day long - makes it difficult to launch or load for some people with those big rollers hitting all the time.
  9. Well - its a better day than at work I suppose. Its hard to beat the Ned when it comes to putting fish on the end of your line.
  10. I didn’t burn more than a gallon today.
  11. I put in right at 5:45. It was beautiful this morning! I started right across from the house with a buzzer. I had 2 slap at it but that’s all they did. I switched to a Spook and they liked it much better. I caught 12 total and 7 were keepers. Missed a few also. They all came from coves or right at the mouth of coves - just out from the bushes. I couldn’t get bit behind the bushes or even in the bushes - I had my luck about 5 feet in front of the bushes. Best fish was 3lbs (I had 2 that size) and she hardly made any commotion when she hit, just sucked it down. It was funny - the littler fish were blowing up hard and the bigger fish didn’t blow up at all.
  12. Nope.
  13. Well done!!! Good Luck!!!
  14. On Sunday it was fine. I thought it had good color to it. First thing in the morning there was some floating debris - the debris was short lived after the wind picked up a little.
  15. Count me in too please....
  16. @BilletHead - I have looked at several locations with no luck. I can find all kinds of Wagners but either not the size you are wanting or they are “unmarked” which I don’t know how they know it’s a Wagner if it’s unmarked?? Anyway - I will keep my eye out for some - for sure a little more difficult than I was expecting.
  17. Good luck!! I hope that fixes your problem!!
  18. Great info - I sure will spend some time looking for what you need. If I find anything close I will DM you.
  19. I have seen a couple on Facebook market - but I have no idea if they are priced right or a total ripoff. What price range would be reasonable?
  20. What Dutch said - Marine Repair is who I would recommend.
  21. By bank or by boat - you seem to always get it done. 👍🏻
  22. I had to stop watching him - I like his fishing insight but the rants got to me.
  23. Wow - the James is not that bad - at least not out front of my house.
  24. It’s a mess.
  25. My old neighbor took out a bunch of corp trees - he paid a fine and the corp wouldn’t let him touch the property for 7 years. He sold the property and the corp is just now letting the new owners make a 6 foot path to the lake but they have to follow the laws when they cut the path.
