They advertise live minnows at Y highway and 76 on the way to Cape Fair. Not sure what they are like..... I never have fished with minnows.

As many boats as there was piled up on point 15 on Sunday one would think that's the place to be. But I don't know for sure.

I put in at 9:00 and threw about everything I had in the boat and caught 1 fish on 6 different lures. 2 were keepers and 4 were shorties. Caught the 6 fish on a jerkbait, spinnerbait, a-rig, jig, sticko worm and a grub. Had fun and WOW there were boats everywhere up the James by point 15. Crappie boats all over. Beautiful day out but fishing was tuff. Here are the 2 keepers. After fishing until 2:30 I sat on the bank in a lawn chair and just enjoyed the weather and watched the gulls dive bomb the shad for a couple more hours. I am so happy to be able to enjoy what we have right here in our backyard. God is good!!!!

Knowing that I will be donating prizes - it doesn't really matter to me. However - if I do slop into 3rd place somehow it would be nice to get a little something something. So if your taking votes - mine would be top 3 get paid.

It might be as simple as the angle that you have the transducer mounted. When I put mine on - I noticed the angle had to be darn near perfect for it to read accurately.

Definitely have a couple up the James river. I have seen them several times along with his trained attack minks.

Friend of mine went today and it was 43.5 in the morning and hit about 45 when he left. Said the jerkbait was working today .
