  1. Agree!!
  2. What’s a spoon?
  3. Yep. Good fishing and good company for sure. A special “Thank You” to Jeff and Mike for your extra efforts during the event. See you again next year!!!
  4. Count me in. I will have another member with me too.
  5. Nice work. I am going to have to try and figure out that deep bite some day.
  6. Great fish - Thanks for sharing.
  7. I would call Marine Repair in Springfield. They have a good reputation from the people I talk with. I think they work on just about anything - but I could be wrong. Definitely worth a call.
  8. Yes - good luck to him!!!
  9. Sounds good - let us know how it goes.
  10. I stayed in Springfield this week so I am not sure what’s going on. I can say that on Sunday it had lots of floaters in the morning - but cleaned up a little after the wind blew it all to the bank. Visibility was only 3 or 4 inches in most of the areas that I fished. With this last round of moisture and the water rising - I would bet it’s not any better. But I will find out tomorrow when I go back down there.
  11. The young whipper snappers ruin it for everyone...🤪🤪
  12. Good job! Killing it!!
  13. That’s my go to strategy 75% of the time.👍🏻 I don’t venture to far off shore - I like real skinny water too. 👍🏻
  14. I guess I will have to try it a little long next time. I was throwing a pearl white in the same areas I caught the other fish in - with out a nibble.
  15. I threw it for a little while but the water was so cloudy that I don’t think they could see it. When I was by Virgin Bluff the water clarity was only about 3 or 4 inches.
  16. Water temp was 44.6 at 7:00am, water was brown with debris floating all over. Could only see about 6 inches. I threw a black rock crawler for a while and caught 3 with 2 keepers. Then I threw a white spinnerbait with a white tube. I caught 6 more with 2 being keepers. Big fish of the day was 3.15. Water was 45.6 when I left at 12:30.
  17. Nice job Booby B. 25 keepers is a heck of a day.
  18. What a bummer. Sorry to hear that.
  19. Well done - again!!! Your right - that mean mouth is cool!!!
  20. Champions I thought were a real solid boat. - I know several people that swear by them. So this surprised me a little. I know I will not stick with the Triton.
  21. Good to know. I will make the trip.
  22. Sounds good - I will probably take you up on that this spring. Thanks!!
  23. Thank you Bill. I do like the Nitro - especially the beam dimensions. My little Triton is so narrow up front that the Nitro is impressive to me. The price point of the Nitro is about where I would like to be also.
  24. Lol. I appreciate the honesty!
