3/27 8-11:30am Depth 6-8' Caught 14 on a rogue I painted. All were largemouth, had 6 keepers. All released. These were the biggest. Wind picked up just enough to blow a bunch of debris right into where I was catching these. Made it almost impossible to cast a jerkbait with so much crap floating around so I just went home. A lot more floating debris in the lake since Monday. As you can see these fish were no where near the bank.

I'm old enough to remember that show. Spoonbills, mmm hmm😍

My version of parrot. The pearlized gold really reflects the natural light. Will add some micro gold flake in the top coat next 😄

Sunshine and warm nights will do it! Especially with that color water👍 I should make a trip up that way sometime, never have fished there . Could be there in 40 minutes.

Caution wet paint!🖌️🎨 Got around to top coating a couple of these on Thursday. I added a little micro sparkle just because I had it. Not too much, just a very tiny bit. Used wild mushroom brown, pinecone brown, metallic orange, metallic black, and pine needle green.

That's great ! The youngest has really grown since I last saw a picture wow! He was a just a baby then. Well still raining 🙁 Lake was setting up perfect when you were here. Now it's filling up again big time. No sun to warm the water either. At least the nights have been warmer here.

It's muddy around the Theo bridge and there's a little debris but not bad. Water clarity improves up above and further down.

Kim City - Mar 22nd - underspin on gravel with shad

That's awesome -
One thing I've noticed in the Theodosia arm of Bull Shoals is how much more additional run off enters the lake above hwy160 now than it used to. It may have something to do with the hundreds of acres of woods that are now gone. In the Longrun Thornfield area where the pond fork and the river runs through there have been a lot of trees cut down. Thousands. What used to be thick woods is now acres and acres of bare rolling hillsides. I would think this may contribute to additional run off into the lake. A lot more?!

Even if the corps puts out an announcement on tournaments, I bet some will do whatever they want anyway and have them.

Re spooled my flipping gear today and gave them a good cleaning. Put my wimpy poles away. Stocked my box for heavy cover fishing. Now I'll just wait for Bull Shoals to fill up again and get after it😉

wrench, I do a lot of fishing from shore. I fish near a launch ramp area sometimes on slow traffic days. I have seen many many times over the years boats pulling out ,they drive halfway up the parking lot, a guy reaches in the live well ,buddy snaps a few pics, then he somehow manages to climb out of the boat with two handfulls of fish lip, sometimes dropping a fish or two in the process, then runs down to the bank and hurls the fish into the lake. Walks back to the truck and secures the boat on the trailer, then they drive away. I walk over to where he threw the fish in, grab a couple floaters that swam back to the bank, desperately try to revive them and get them upright. And sometimes these fish are not even keepers. I have saved a few ,I hope Just 2 days ago this happened again. I watched a guy toss in a few bass off the ramp. I found a 13" lm, a giant red hook hole in it's face from someone who didnt know how to remove a hook obviously ,broken back I mean a bent crooked spine, swimming right into the bank. I tried to revive it, and I threw it out further hoping it would swim the other way,it came right back. Tried to get it to dive down. It was done... probably heron poop now. There might be a few reading this, that act like this. Please catch photo release , it's fine, but that means you catch the fish, take a pic, throw it back immediately, not 6 hours later in a parking lot miles from where you caught it. You are not being responsible in my opinion.

Sufix Advance mono 4lb review
Fish24/7 posted a topic in Tips & Tricks, Boat Help and Product Review
⭐⭐ I like Sufix lines. They make some good string, and some not so good in my opinion. I've used a lot of 4 lb lines. This has to be the worst when it comes to retaining strength. New right out of the box it even seems weak for 4lb. Sensitivty was nothing to cheer about.I also found the knot strength to be lacking. SUPER stretch for a line advertising 50% less stretch🤔. Abrasion resistance wasnt very impressive either. It does cast well, but it fished more like 2 lb strength. I fished it about a month and it got so brittle I just trashed it. There are WAY better 4lb lines for a lot less money. I was just curious to try it because it was Sufix. Pretty disappointed. I'll stick to Trilene xt for now. https://www.rapala.com/sufix/monofilament/advance-monofilament/advance-monofilament<ul><li>the-mono-that-thinks-its-a-braid<-li><-ul>/Advance+Monofilament.html -

Here's what I got this year. HGO premium soil conditioner is loaded with nutrients and silica Jobe's All Purpose Jobe's Organic Bone Meal Jobe's Organic blood meal Jobe's Vegetable and Tomato I like Jobe's food because of the biozome ESPOMA garden Tone this has some really good stuff in it plus 3 kinds of bacillus I believe and humic acid Scott's premium top soil with organic matter and peat I'm a firm believer in feeding the dirt as well as feeding the plants. All this stuff isn't just for tomatoes but for everything I'm growing. All used in moderation at different times throughout the growing season based on what the plants need. The Belgium plants are heavy feeders though. I underestimated them the first year and have plenty to offer them this go around after experimenting with feeding schedules last year. They are my favorite 😊

Planted 40 Belgium tomatoes. 36 sprouted, kept 25 of the healthiest looking. All I'm messing with this year is tomatoes, peppers, beans, corn, and some flowers. Really want to focus on the tomatoes this year. I had so many compliments on last year's crop. I want to make sure I have repeat customers again, and have already had people calling me asking if I will have them again this year. I'll be selling the starter plants this year too. Should have about 50 hopefully. Can only have about 20 in the house ,no room for more. The rest will have to be started outdoors after the last frost I guess. I'm doing an entirely different set up in the garden than last year. I'm going to try to maximize the height of the Belgiums in a horizontal method this time. Want to have at least 25-30 plants in the garden this year. But may have to cut back depends on how big they get. All the holes are dug, filled and waiting. I'm using amended yard dirt just like last year but I went the extra mile on soil preparation with special amendments this year. Spent a little more to do that but the goal is to maximize the harvest.

If mother nature provides like last year I want to try making wine with the fruit.

Finally got my grow light. The right one. Planted 40 of the Belgium tomato seeds from last year harvest. 16 have sprouted so far. Hate being 3 weeks behind schedule though. Guess I could have bought a temporary light but I wanted to see how this new led light performs compared to the cfl I used to use. Don't have a room with good sun so I need artificial help. Daffodils are up,even saw a single purple violet bloom today. Planted some lettuce and onions outside about 2 weeks ago, nothing came up so either too early or too much rain I guess.
