ever been at night ?that's when they typically run and the action can be nonstop. Try a purple or smoke/purple swimming minnow, or a live minnow on a split shot rig. good luck!

a fair month bass fishing from the bank. There's been just enough action to keep me happy. Finally got the boat wet last week in the Theodosia arm with mid 50's WT. Fished from noon till 4. Spent the first 25 minutes scanning their routes with the Lowrance looking for bass and/or bait in the 30-40' zone. Found exactly what I was looking for on a bottom composition transition and spent the rest of the afternoon fishing there catching big kentuckies dead sticking soft plastics in 30-40fow. The last few trips were from the shore again and the catching was better than it has been all month using 1/4 oz homemade hair jigs an hour before dark swimming it just off the bottom in 3-6fow., all largemouths. Everything was released. With the lake rising now we should have a amazing Spring ! Good luck to everyone!

Saturday Big had some dingy water up in the very back of the creek, really good flow. Yesterday it was running clearer with about the same flow.. I bet it's really up today!

DC i'd just fish where the shad are. Don't know how good you are with electronics but I'd use them. Can honestly say I've caught more bass out of Bull fishing the buffet than any other way. These bass are hard to find, but so easier to catch imo. If i'm not seeing shad with my own eyes or on the screen I'm not fishing there. If you're looking for tournament weight catching stuffed to the gills bass is what you want. good luck to you and your wife !

the brown/orange craw I did w/ createx is shot over a white base, followed by an equal mix of peach and sand shot all over. Then some transp orange highlights followed by transp dark brown with the stencils and some trans black freehand detail. brown craw and MO craw i'll have to try sometime. on a brown craw maybe a white base then some red mixed with a skin tone to get that particular shade of red? a little pink/red on the belly with a hint of transp red shot over that , just a guess i'm pretty limited on my color selections, they (createx) probably make the exact colors you're looking for

What is a legal Umbrella Rig in Missouri?
Fish24/7 replied to edyer's topic in General Angling Discussion
titanium wire rigs are my choice for 3/8 and under , stronger yet more flexible at the same time. give the rod a sweep and the wires partially collapse and then flare back out. triggering bites. i don;t recommend them for heavy jigheads/swimbaits over 3/8, that's when i use a stiffer wire rig -
I have a galvanized jet ski trailer I'd sell. It has new 600lb springs and mounts, new galvanized wheels, new tires, new lights and wiring, new adjustable bunks and carpet, 2 spare tires with wheels.new nuts and bolts where needed, freshly greased hubs. I'll take some pics if you're interested. Will need to be inspected and titled as homemade to get plates in MO. I think it's 14' long I'll have to look.
