  1. oh my is it that time already?
  2. agree January and February I always take 4 rods with me. A pro suspender, an elite 8, a perfect ten and a super spoonbill.
  3. Beaver creek has never been good to me
  4. I've not had any trouble with the hardware or those Gamakatsu hooks. Every one has fished "perfectly" right out of the box for me. Depending on water temps sometimes you have to add a little suspend dot to get them to suspend, but most suspending rogues are like that. Switching factory hardware on some jerkbaits can ruin the built in suspension and action if you use the wrong stuff. Rogues are VERY sensitive to this. Hope some of you reading this took advantage of the sale yesterday;) Thanks Jim for the heads up !
  5. It would be nice to have more "local" made tackle in the store. You'll hear from me next March.
  6. if you think a perfect ten is kinda big, you should see the 7.5" minnows I use
  7. awesome jerkbaits. guess I need a few more if they are on sale if the elite 8 and the top 20 go on sale too I'll be late paying next months phone bill !!

  13. there's definitely a bluegill/bass thing going on right now. Found a 20" lm with a big gill stuck sideways in her bucketmouth. I netted it and removed the gill and both of them swam away!
  14. seeing the same thing on Bull this morning and yesterday afternoon. Wolfpacks cruising in knee deep water herding 2-4" gills.
  15. yep, triple and quad blades are great for those days where fish are tight to cover and won't chase. With 3 or even 4 wings you can easily retrieve it nice and slow keeping it in the strike zone longer.

  23. yes I like the wakers in shallow heavy cover, especially wood. (weedless trebles) "bumping" into the cover during the retrieve will get you more bites here's some more info about wakers... https://www.bing.com/search?q=fishing+wake+baits&form=EDGTCT&qs=PF&cvid=4c80a4cf75df4195890dd0c7110f8e5f&pq=fishing wake baits
