  1. Planted these Pinks last Fall Can smell them from 20' away First Tiger of 2020 opened today too
  2. A yellow feathered hook on the back of that would be sweet
  3. Throw It Down Let's see some fish pics of our various fisheries here in the Ozarks. Does the White River have bigger and prettier browns than Taneycomo? Prove it! What about Colorado? Tennessee? The Northeast? It's time to put up or get out of the boat! Um ,I wanted to see a lot more fish, a lot less politics, guess not. This IS getting old... Kinda surprised moderator even let this go on for 8 pages since it has absolutely nothing to do with fish..
  4. 6/23 11-2:30 Visibility about 18". Left the bass stuff at home this time. Just needed a few gills for the freezer. Really hard to find today. Toughest day I've had all year for bluegill. Finally found them on the bottom in 6-10' on gravel way in the back of a tiny creek . Couldn't get anything going in the brush this time, everything was related to rock bottom . Several had their tails roughed up ,tells me there are some on beds or just finished. Used a 1/16 ounce micro jig with a honey worm, white was the best color worm with a smoke hologram jig. Let it hit bottom, hop it 3 times and repeat. Never saw a bluegill near the surface today. Didn't hear many kissing the surface either. Caught everything in 2 spots. Fish each spot for a little bit catch one or two and then come back later and catch a few more. Caught 19, kept 10.
  5. Rinsed off the shovels, hung them back in the garage. Hopefully the last time for a long time. All tomato plants are in the ground now. 14 cocktails, 23 Giant Pink Belgiums. The oldest Belgiums have nice tennis ball,to fist sized green fruits. Counted 55 of them, and about another 50 the size of a quail egg, and a bunch more tiny one's. Lots of blooms on the tops. Secondary branching is looking good also. They won't be ready by the fourth. They still have a long way to grow..
  6. The declassified black and white Navy videos of UFOs are pretty sweet. There is practically zero light pollution where I live. You can see the stars extremely well ,even better with a telescope. And other stuff too🀫
  7. Lol , who said anything about pyramids and politics, oh you did Don't ever quote me about politics please, thanks. Can't stand the subject. I'll just ignore that πŸ˜‰
  8. Small, tiny ,micro sure why not! Thanks for asking! Also since our eyes can only see a specific range of colors and light ,I'm sure there are things that exist that we cannot even see. that exist in other color spectrums and light intensities.
  9. Did you click the link? Those numbers are quite impressive for the time period.jmo Thanks for your input!
  10. I've always thought high tech gadgets were based off real Alien tech, but I'm more impressed by the past, yes. Glad you asked.
  11. Sorry, I don't have any conspiracy theories other than Aliens do exist?? Isn't it obvious? The extraordinary mathematics involved in the construction of ancient civilizations is all the proof I need to see. The numbers don't lie. πŸ›ΈπŸ‘½ Where did the information come from to build those incredible structures with such precision and accuracy and their specific relationships to the stars and planets? Here's a lot of The Great pyramid's numbers to consider...just one example of many places on Earth. http://garyosborn.moonfruit.com/1-43200/4594099844
  12. Every stock I own I'm up. I bought the f'n dips. Long and strong. Anybody else play VERI today? Easy $3k
  13. Had a 145 lb husky wolf hybrid named Lucky, when I was 10 he was already darn near twice my weight. He was very gentle.
  14. Our Panthers though the raised bed was a giant litter box, I stopped that πŸ’© real quick by placing large flat rocks around the plants and in between them. Nowhere to dig and squat now.😊
  15. 7' Quantum Micro MXP spinning rod and paired it with a Shimano Catana FC 1000 reel with 6lb Sufix 832 superline. Rod is rated for micro jigging which is how I target panfish 95% of the time. Even though it's a 7' rod, even the small sunfish will put a bend in the blank, and the length allows me to cast a 1/32 oz jig a very long ways on the 832 superline. Also like the 7' for vertical jigging and dipping around wood. Rod has plenty of backbone too to turn a hump headed bull bluegilll, or giant slab without feeling overpowered like you are horsing them in. Being a micro light rod it's micro light in weight. The reel balanced out nicely on the rod. Feels just right to me. At Just under $100 for the rod, reel ,and line I have used it a half dozen times with no complaints whatsoever. It's a great micro combo imo!
  16. We have 5 outside cats, there are no squirrels to have for dinner here unfortunately. πŸ˜„ I like squirrel meat, "squeat"as I call it, but won't eat them this time of year, no way. Lice ,fleas, ticks, worms, mites, yuk. Rather not take the chance and wait till Fall and Winter and hunt public land that's nearby. I just couldn't shoot a squirrel if she had babies this time of year either. But man do I love fried squirrel with pan drippings gravy, mmmm mmmm! Was gifted a Belgium Browning 22 from my late Grandfather, it's harvested hundreds and hundreds of tree rats over the years.
  17. Those four legged humpback roooters love a freshly transplanted and watered tomato hole. So easy to dig up, all the way down to the bottom of the hole. It was getting dark last night and I didn't put thick mulch or big gravel over the planting site, and he wrecked it. Woke up to 2 big ol fresh dug holes and tomato roots exposed.

  20. My poor red roses, every day I spray those little beetle bastards. They are alll over my evening primroses too. Pray to God they stay away from the mater vinesπŸ™
  21. Things are trucking right along. Got the maters sprayed with fungicide. Had to water everything yesterday,I mean soaked it good. Got some pink tomatoes the size of a tennis ball but I doubt they will be ready by the 4th since I am a month behind this year. First sets of cocktail maters are still green but full grown and more coming on every day. About time for another feeding. Have been foliar feeding once a week, root feeding twice a month and will increase that as the plants get bigger. Watermelon started to vine out ,no blooms yet. Did two more transplants last night. That makes 9 cocktail plants. That's gonna be a lot of little maters, and I have more in pots ready to go in! This is that volunteer cocktail tomato I dug up. Survived two frosts and transplant shock. There's fruit on it just down low and covered by leaves.
  22. 6/14 Bass fished 12-6 different spot than Fridays report Slow start, first you gotta find what depth/s they are.. Took me a couple hours to find them. Threw crankbaits all day. Searching. Lipless and a square bill. Topwater was a definite no. Gar everywhere you look ,had to reel the baits really fast or they would grab it. Every cast with a topwater has gar all over it. Didn't even bring any jigs or worms today, just wanted to cover water as fast as possible. Caught 14 largemouth only 3 keepers. Found them scattered in a field in 6-9 fow. Caught all of them between 2:30 and 4:00.
  23. Not that anybody cares but the last boat I bought was at Branson landing. Went to pick it up and they had the wrong boat with my name on it 😦. Then tried to convince me that was the one I had bought. I got in my tool box in the truck, grabbed the tape measure, measured the dimensions of the boat in front of 3 people. Then got the paperwork( receipt) out of the glovebox and showed that to them. Well, 45 minutes later ,after wandering around in the store being followed by every undercover in there thanks to my long hair back then., I finally got the right boat. No apologies, no big deal. It wasn't a fancy bass boat ,just a Jon, but here's my thoughts. Either they are totally illiterate and can't read, or they tried to rip me off by giving me a cheaper boat narrower in width than what I bought thinking I would just grab it and go. Haven't stepped foot in that store since then...found out the 45 minute wait was for new paperwork since they had to shred the old.
  24. That photo of the Spring brings back a lot of memories. That's where I caught my first trout with my Grandfather. He had the best dough bait!. We would walk down to the waters edge both of us cast out at the same time. Give the rod a couple twitches ,and reel one in and move to another spot and repeat. People always asked us what we used because we always caught fish every time we were there. I bet the stuff still works even today.
