  1. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First I'm a picky line guy. This line fits my needs in all of the following categories.👍☑️ Second I want a dependable line I have complete confidence in every time I use it. 👍☑️ I used to buy the fluorocarbon lines. Tritanium has now replaced all my fluorocarbon needs.👍☑️ Third I'll just mention about the performance of Tritanium. Excellent castability on spinning and baitcasting. Toughness, this stuff is way stronger than the label says. sensitivity, consistent construction, the perfect balance of stretch imo. Knot strength is super strong imo. Excellent abrasive qualities. It's not a really stiff line either. I've used 8,12,14,17 lb test. On the higher end it's still subtle for the size. It does hold a little memory on the spool, and most lines will, but soon after just a few casts or so it's gone and there is zero memory, line lays straight in the water and no coils from the rod tip.👍☑️ Currently I have 8lb on my bass spinning reels.12 and 14 spooled on my top water, crank, jerk, jig, worm, and spinner bait combos. 17lb on my swimbait ,big bait, and flipping stuff. You get a lot of yds for the price too. 👍☑️ This will be my 5th year ? using Tritanium. It has goodd longevity. I typically respool a reel maybe 2-3 x a year off the same spool and still have lots of line left on the spool.Could go longer but like I said I'm picky. Anyway I don't use anything else for bass fishing now except for one reel that's spooled with heavy braid for when you just gotta have it💪 https://www.rapala.com/sufix/monofilament/tritanium-plus/tritanium-plus/Tritanium+Plus.html Shop around and you can find some good prices💲💲
  2. Thanks Mark that was perfect!
  3. Dadgum air compressor shot craps. It was a very inexpensive model ,got 4 years out of it so I guess that's not too bad. Ordered a different one. Probably be a week before I get to paint.
  4. Whites are strange . . When they are schooling on top and then stop surfacing and go down and are hard to get fire up the big motor and let it idle and they go berserk biting again, not all the time, but many times they will. Water clarity or depth doesn't seem to matter then either. Ive also caught them trolling little shad raps 10-15' right behind the boat in the prop wash on really windy days with white caps. And other days they are so spooked by just trolling motor noise. Seems a lot of times they like a fast moving bait. Been sitting in a group of boats catching whites and they were not catching anything and I start yelling at others around me to reel faster ,and they immediately hook up 😄
  5. Gary Nokes passed away. Didn't know if you knew.
  6. Love me some rogues! I have tinkered with and modified every model in some way or another just for fun. One neat trick is to cut out the factory lip on a floating model and replace it with a larger square bill lip, add a feathered treble to the rear, now you have a cool wake bait👍 Buzzbait and a floating rogue were the first two baits I learned how to use. Still have some of the old floaters all scratched up with teeth marks and bent hooks. They have been retired for over 30 years now in a display case. Can't lose those baits, too much sentimental value .
  7. 3/12 Bank fished from 9-12 caught 15 bass. 4 little small mouth,5 little largemouth, 3 little kentuckies and 3 keeper kentuckies. All on a 50' stretch of bank. Swimming 2" and 3" grubs. Near the bottom in 2-6ft. Craws were on the prowl. I'd say a crank with an orange belly would be ideal 😉 Didn't catch anything until the wind started blowing in on the bank. Saw my first snake of the year
  8. That smoke in the air was awful! Glad it didn't hang around for too long. Nice bass!!!
  9. 3/4 Fished from 10:30-5. Caught 2 16" largemouth flipping shallow brush ,caught 2 more 16" largemouth on a jerkbait out of the brush in a cove . caught 9 spots on a wart I painted 7 of them were over 12", and 1 15 1/2" largemouth.20 fish day including short fish. Fish bit in 2-8 fow overcast light NW wind
  10. 3/3 Fished from 8-10:45 before the wind came. Caught 8. 1 13" spot on a 3/8 wobble head and bug, two 13" lm on the same rig. 1 12" smallie, and some baby largemouth on a 3" grub 1/8 oz head. Flat gravel bank in 2-7 fow. Should be a good shallow bite somewhere as fast as the lake dropped those craws should be right there at the water edge.😉
  11. I've seen bigger come out of Bull, just not on the end of MY fishing line unfortunately .😄 Congratulations to the angler! They oughta be about ready to drop some eggs any day .I know when they do the walleye start getting more aggressive and hungry😉
  12. Well, another set back.. First light they sent me blew up. There were disconnected wires in the housing caused a short. Sent a replacement, waited another week, guess what, they sent a fluorescent bulb instead of led. Maybe third time they get it right. Another week should get it then. 😐
  13. I've been around quite a few of these tm's. Foot pedal steering not working was main issue. Every one had the plastic slotted piece break where the cable goes into the head. Handle ropes were always wearing out just a thin little string. Mounting bracket was weak and had cracking issues.. I fished with it a few times. It moved a 16' boat with 2 people fairly well but had to bump it up to 3 speed to get it to turn and steer easier, where by myself I'd use 1 or 2 setting. It would go about 5-6 hours max on a full charge with 2 people. On a windy day 4-5 hours and I was always swapping batteries out throughout the day. Batteries were good batteries too, not old. Maybe they make them differently now than they used to🤔 A friend has a Minn Kota in the same price range. I've used it and it's been more reliable. The only issue has been the handle rope breaking. Also like the Minn foot pedal better than the MG's. It sits flush on the deck, doesn't scoot around like the MG. MG seemed to work better if you screwed it down, but then it was uncomfortable to fish out of either side of the boat in a seated position. The Minn I could put anywhere on the deck to make it comfy on the legs. Idk why they put such cheap rope on the lower end 12v models on either brand.
  14. Clouds Almost finished needs top coat Very happy with the way these turned out. Has many layers of paint that color shift lighter or darker with available light. Sun They will have black split rings, black snap line tie, and black KVD ewg treble hooks. I'll post a pic when finished 👍
  15. So ready to get started, just waiting on a light I ordered. Seeds will be started sometime next week. Did a soil test in the garden today. Mostly good, just a little low on ferts is all it showed. Don't ask me why I bought 12 diff kinds of tomatoes seeds in addition to the varieties I grew last year. they were 25 cents a pack at dollar general last Fall and I went a little nuts when I saw all the different kinds. I won't grow them all but I plan to try a few new ones I haven't tried before. Made a light stand to put in the spare bathroom. I'm converting the bathtub into a growing space to start my plants 😄
  16. Well I haven't been going lately. Got a sick 🐈 who's been needing my full attention 😟
  17. Another practice plug. Predator Spro rock crawler .Trying to get back into the painting groove. A Little rusty after the long break. Have to remember to slow down and not rush into it. Looks more green pumpkin color in the shade overall but when the sun hits it, it turns golden. That wasn't intentional btw 😆 oops
  18. Splatters and spots yes!
  19. Peralized white with Iridescent purple, and violet micro flake. Spro
  20. Practice wart, just to see if equipment was working properly. Turned out fine😃
  21. Yep,those are the kind that I was talking about people were catching in Little North Fork White River back in 2017. Giants! Congratulations to the angler!!
  22. Sent you a message
  23. Imagine running wot in your bass boat, hat turned backwards, shi* eating grin on your face because you know those smallies are all over that secondary point way down the lake. First thing you hear is the unusual high pitch engine whine, faint at first, then it keeps getting louder and louder! your brain thinks wth is that noise?? then you immediately get off plane, throw it in neutral thinking your hearing these noises from your outboard motor and it's gonna blow! All this time a Warthog has been tailing you! The pilot throws you a peace sign as he is literally just a few away when he passes you on the right as you stare in disbelief! Dang near roasted my posterior as my hat flies off my head and into the lake! Now the adrenaline is pumping good ,and out of nowhere over the opposite bluff comes his buddy in another Hog flying sideways, does a swoop and dive on me, and gets right behind the first jet. They are basically 30' approx above the water now as they zig and zag around the points sideways. This happened to me many many years ago on Bull. I didn't know if I was pissed off because they were WAY too close for comfort and scared the crap outta me, or super excited because they are so awesome, kind of in shock mode actually ,ears were ringing from the high decibles, and yes I caught some fish off that point😄
  24. Some people just have amazing mental clarity. When you combine that with fishing Jacob is an obvious example imo
  25. If locals would stop eating state and possibly world records caught in Little Fork (they call it) it would hold the MO record for sure. Back in 2017 every perch you caught there was over 10", some were over 15" and most of the people catching them didn't even know what they were. A few people thought they were walleye and were throwing them biggins back. That hasn't happened again since then. I saw a young guy with 3 perch on a stringer lying in the bed of his pickup., every one was over 2lbs each. They were bigger than the crappie I had. I told him they might be record fish ,all he saw was food. There has to be some gigantic perch swimming around in Bull Shoals now after all these high water years.
