warm water months my biggest lm last year bit a wake bait in September.

anybody been during the day lately? trying to plan a trip Friday should I go deep or shallow for largemouths? I was hoping there were still a bunch of them up fairly shallow? Some of my best topwater days were in August in knee deep water.

August is starting out good. . Nice average size so far. Had some net issues last week. landed 3 35' trolling cranks

i'm guessing water temps will be somewhere in the low to mid 80's? should be dropping a little bit by the end of this month ? seems there's always some "shallow" largemouth to be caught on Bull, good luck

longline trolling with 12lb fluorocarbon and/or 10lb braid to get these minnow baits down to about 30' A few weeks ago lead core and flicker shads were putting fish in the boat but not recently. The last 2 weeks deepest diving baits and spoons have been better it seems.

love Binks spoons, no complaints from me would be sweet to have some bigger/ heavier one's 2 -3 oz for us guys who like to get their spoons down to the strike zone quicker -
JIm just a few q's... was this line put on a baitcaster or spinning reel? what pound test is it? were you night fishing after dark ?

not a fan of war eagle, make your own for less with "better" parts a while back I bought 5. 2 broke on fish, the barbs rusted away and the wire and heads are loose on the remaining don't care for the R bend wire form either, I'm a twisted eye guy -
