I thought I posted to this last night. In the clear water lakes I like to stick with the natural colors.....Shad, Perch, Crawfish and even Chrome.

I feel the same way.
When Rapala in their infinite "wisdom" decided to discontinue the old style tots, I was smart enough or lucky enough to stock up. BPS had them on clearance for $1 an I bought more than 200 of them. Not all were the "good" colors, but I just paint those whatever I like. I think I still have close to 100 still in the boxes.

Hot N Tots sure are a nostalgic bait for me. Glad to see you caught a mess on them!

Casey Jeaux reacted to lmt-outfitters in Walleye
The walleye bite has been very consistent since late June but the last week or 2 it has been amazing. The last 2 trips combined we have caught 89 walleye with 31 of them being keepers. And a few over 20 inches wich I consider to be big walleye on Stockton. Bottom bouncing harnesses in 16 to 20 ft has been best. Sorry can't get any pics to down load.

fished today had 9 keepers 9 shorts. Bottom bouncing in 15 to 22 ft. Had to move around. Find fish with sonar go over a couple times. Catch 2 or 3. Move to next spot.

Casey Jeaux reacted to mmirg in Beaver Creek
We put in at beaver yesterday. All clear at the ramp and main Lake. There's still some ice up in the creaks. We caught crappie in 27' of water casting drop shot rigs to schools of fish. All artificial baits. Color of bait didn't really matter, but twitching your rod tip a bit then dead sticking it till you felt the super light tap did.
