  1. Im 200 feet on a cliff, All I will lose is a dock(50Years ol) and of course Big M(my 61 evinrude with a 14 ft Seaking. All insured. If the the dam goes I would feel sorry for Rockaway beach. They will be wiped out. Cant feel sorry for branson much. Too much money. Sorry phil, hope your insuerd in case of a sudden release.
  2. Trust me on the fact that Iowa will have better fishing in April than Missouri. I have fished Red Rock And Rathbun several times, and my brother(An Iowan State Trooper) is saying that when the cottonwoods bloom it will be phenom conditions. I am probably going to go catch those fish first of May myself. Save your gas money and work the lakes close to home. Maybe I will see ya. I used to fish alot of lakes in Iowa. Big creek and Saylorville, as well as up north in spirit and Okiboji. Pine is fine and when it comes to rivers the des moines is the best. Closer to you might be a series of lakes in the chariton area. I forget thier names, but I think the chariton river is the source. Look at my blog and you will see all the fish we catch in Iowa.
  3. OLE! Si Habla Espanol!
  4. I hear ya Cheif. It would take me 3 stops for gas to fight the current. Haha Too be honost, I havent even been trying. It just looks uninviting from my view of the lake. With all the consecutive days of super fast water, all my brownies are probably all within 3 miles of the dam anyway.
  5. I think right now that Red Rock or even Rathbun(close to you) would be better options right now. Sorry.
  6. That is nothing compared to what I see in a year down here on lower Taney. From 12 to 20 fish stringers and undersized browns galore. If I was to guess, most those dont even have a license. Patfish, They know the laws. They just dont care. And down here on Lower Taney most people know they wont get caught.
  7. Reminds me of my 61 Fastwin Evinrude. I keep taking care of her and she is still putting along.
  8. He keeps telling me that he is an Angel. But the bumps on his head tell me that he has no wings. And his nose ring must be how he wears his Halo.
  9. He is Kin. Thats why the same last name. Wouldnt be an Ozark Job if there wasnt any nepitism. He wouldnt "fire" his favorite nephew.
  10. Haha funny Crappie. I work for Lucifer so I can make ya a great deal on a few secrets if your willing to part with something or do a little favor in return. Im Chief Advocate so it wont be any problem.
  11. I was referring to the fish. Thanks for the info.
  12. I have tons of history on Taney County.
  13. Welcome!
  14. Whats the old saying? If you cant do....sell?
  15. Thanks for the input RPS, Will probably fish Grand but keep those two lakes as options if grand is too full of water. What sizes can I look forward to?
  16. I am a product of a father who has bred dogs and have learned from him. Dogs dig for one of three reasons. A place to rest A place to Cache Or a place to vent. In all those conditions all you have to do is cater to thier needs. Give them a blanket, give them more food, or give them attention. Not fool proof, but works with my varmit killers.!
  17. If I was a rancher I would be relieved. Be nice to kill the varmits legally.
  18. Fly2, Have you fished Eucha or Spavinaw? What are the Bass populations like there?
  19. Welcome!
  20. I spent the afternoon pushing logs off my dock and saw 2 dead suckers and a dozen or so dead shad in the debris. Guess those trout let a few get by them. Haha
  21. Welcome! My advice is to forget missiouri altogether. At least until May. But if I had to pick between Missouri waters, I would say forget the bass and go fish for trout someplace. GO HAWKEYES!
  22. My brother is in the market for a new(to him) rig. Shoot me some pics and I will forward them to him. OzarkAngler65616@aol.com
  23. Well, I am giving up on Table Rock for my annual Spring Bass Cram. I was thinking of Grand Lake of the Cherekees in OK instead. Its only one foot over normal. Does anyone have any dish they would like to share about this lake? Also, Would appreciate any info on other OK Lakes if anyone thinks there might be a better option than Grand. Thanks Fellas.
